TRAINEE AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE ENGINEERS' (TAME) PROGRAM
 
TAME is an intensive traineeship program comprising of classroom sessions and workshop practices at APR - Aviation Training Centre, and on-the-job training (OJT) at various aviation organizations for hands-on practical experience.

This program will lead to the DCAM Part 66 Category B1 Aircraft Engineers Licence, which is the pre-requisite technical qualification for those seeking employment as Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineers.

DCAM Part 66 Category B1.1 - Aeroplanes Turbine
DCAM Part 66 Category B1.3 - Helicopter Turbine
 
PRE-REQUISITE :
i) Malaysian or foreign citizen, age 18 - 25 years old
ii) 3-year program : Diploma/Degree in Engineering
4-year Program : Minimum SPM with strong Credit in English Language, Mathematics and Physic, or Diploma/Degree in non-engineering fields 

iii) Physically and mentally fit with good eyesight, and not colour blind.
CLASS STRUCTURE :
In each semester, students will undergo both classroom sessions and OJT. 

i) Classroom and workshop sessions - Monday to Friday, 9.00 am - 5.00 pm
ii) OJT - Students are required to follow the working hours/shift patterns of the respective maintenance organisation, which may also include Saturday, Sunday and public holidays.

COURSE DURATION :
3 years (6 semesters) for students with minimum Diploma in Engineering.

4 years (8 semesters) for students from SPM/O'Level, or those with Diploma/Degree in non-engineering fields.

FEES :

For Malaysian Students

3-year Program : RM 75,000.00 per student

4-year program : RM 90,000.00 per student

For International Students

3-year Program : RM 110,000.00 per student

4-year program : RM 130,000.00 per student
